Home based role- Ideally located in: Harrogate, Leeds, York, Wakefield, Bradford, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Chesterfield, Nottingham
Are you a Junior Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Technician, or someone with electrical and mechanical experience looking to build a long-term career with a market-leading company?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist engineering business that will provide full product training, ongoing development, and clear progression opportunities. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, developing your technical skills while increasing your earnings through overtime.
In this role, you will assist with the service, maintenance, installation, and repair of specialist machinery at customer sites. You will receive hands-on training in both electrical and mechanical fault finding, helping you develop into a fully qualified Field Service Engineer.
Travelling from home, you will visit customer sites across the region with support from senior engineers and the wider service team.

The Role
- Service, maintenance, repair, and installation of specialist machinery
- Assisting with electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Working on motors, sensors, control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and drive systems
- Field-based role visiting customer sites
- Full specialist product training provided
- Shadowing and learning from experienced engineers
- Days-based position with regular overtime available
- Clear progression to a fully qualified Field Service Engineer
The Person
- Junior Engineer, Technician, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar
- Basic electrical and/or mechanical engineering knowledge
- Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, military engineering background, or practical hands-on experience advantageous
- Eager to learn and develop technical skills
- Good problem-solving ability and willingness to travel
- Full UK Driving Licence
