Kitchen Assistant / Catering Assistant – Colchester & Ipswich£12–£14 per hour • Multiple Shifts • 1st–14th July
We’re recruiting 15 Kitchen Assistants / Catering Assistants to support busy school and university kitchens across Colchester and Ipswich. This is ideal for anyone with catering experience looking for flexible shifts over this period.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with food handling and basic food prep
- Serve customers during busy service times
- Clear tables and maintain clean dining areas
- Support the kitchen team with general duties

- Mid-mornings
- Lunch shifts
- Afternoons
- Evenings
What You Need
- Level 2 Hospitality & CateringorLevel 2 Food Safety & Hygiene
- Previous experience working in a catering environment
- Reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
