Lead Kitchen Porter – Hotels, Restaurants & Events
We are currently recruiting experienced and dependable Kitchen Porters for exciting opportunities across hotels, restaurants and event venues.
This role is ideal for someone with strong kitchen porter experience who can take initiative, support the wider kitchen team, and help maintain high standards in busy hospitality environments.
We have both full-time and part-time positions available, offering flexible ongoing work across a variety of fantastic venues.
Requirements:
– Previous Kitchen Porter experience is essential
– Experience in a Lead Kitchen Porter or senior kitchen support role preferred
– Driving is preferred
– Reliable, hardworking, and confident working in fast-paced kitchens
– Able to support and guide junior kitchen porters when needed
– Flexible availability for weekdays, evenings, and weekends where required
– Strong team player with a positive attitude
Duties may include:
– Leading and supporting the kitchen porter team
– Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
– Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and organisation
– Supporting chefs and kitchen teams during busy service periods
– Basic food prep where required
– Monitoring stock of cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials
– Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
