We're looking for a Knowledge System Manager for a public sector organisation based in London (hybrid) on an initial 12-month contract, paying up to £41.92 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35).
This is a hybrid role with an expectation to attend the office in London 3 days per week.
The successful Knowledge System Manager will take operational ownership of a suite of knowledge and document systems used across a central government legal function and its wider professional community. You'll lead a small team, manage stakeholder relationships at all levels including Board, and drive continuous improvement across platforms built on SharePoint, WordPress, Sitecore and a document automation tool. You'll also act as the bridge between Digital colleagues and knowledge and information teams, helping to embed emerging technologies such as AI into existing systems.
You will need proven experience working with the following:
– Managing and maintaining knowledge or document management systems
– Line management and team leadership
– Project managing system improvements with multiple stakeholders
– Working with data and knowledge systems in a complex organisational environment
– Engaging users and content creators to ensure systems meet accessibility and operational requirements
– Building relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
– Horizon scanning and current awareness across legal or information technology
You'll also need practical exposure to working across the following, including areas such as:
– SharePoint, WordPress or Sitecore (or comparable platforms)
– Knowledge management best practice and cross-government information or data policies
– Delivering training and supporting user communities
Experience in legal technology or AI integration into knowledge platforms would be beneficial.
