KS1 Teacher – Gravesend
Full-time – MPS-UPS – September start – Temp-to-perm
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a KS1 Teacher for full-time positions in the Gravesend area for a September start. This would involve full classroom teaching responsibilities and salary will be paid at scale. This role would run till the end of the academic year and would be offered perm at the end of this period.
We are working with a range of schools spanning multi-form entry Primary Schools as well as smaller single-form entry schools that are community based.
I am looking to speak to both ECTs and experienced teachers alike, as shortlisting and interviews are happening ASAP.
The Role
- Planning and delivering the KS1 Curriculum.
- Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
- Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
- Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students
Requirements
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
- Experience as a KS1 Teacher, or a Primary Teacher in KS2 with an interest in KS1.
- Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
- Have right to work in the UK
