Part-Time KS2 Teacher – Blackpool – September Start

Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool from September 2026.

The Role

  • Position: Key Stage 2 Teacher
  • Location: Blackpool
  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Duration: One-year maternity cover
  • Working Pattern: Part-time, 3 days per week
  • Pay: AWR-compliant pay from day one of the booking

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher looking for a consistent, long-term role within a supportive and friendly school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Is reliable, proactive, and able to build positive relationships
  • Has a genuine passion for teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
