About the Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment while delivering the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
    * Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
    * Assess, monitor, and report on pupils' progress and attainment
    * Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
    * Prepare pupils for statutory assessments, including SATs where appropriate
    * Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
    * Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives
    * Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all pupils

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
    * Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
    * Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
    * Excellent classroom management and communication skills
    * Passion for delivering engaging and inspiring learning experiences
    * Commitment to high standards of teaching and pupil achievement
    * A positive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning
    * Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
