Upper Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant – Tameside Primary School

Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Tameside from September.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for a confident Teaching Assistant who has a strong background supporting pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 and is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 & 6).
- A good understanding of the Upper KS2 National Curriculum.
- Experience delivering targeted interventions to support pupil progress.
- Confidence leading small group sessions across a range of subjects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning.
