We are looking for a reliable, hard-working site labourer to join a busy, fast-paced team on a brand-new build housing development in Newcastle. This is an ongoing contract position with long-term stability for the right candidate, offering consistent hours and a great working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting skilled tradespeople (bricklayers, joiners, plasterers) on-site.
- Moving materials and ensuring supplies are delivered to the correct plots.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized site environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Setting up and clearing away equipment.
- Handling general physical tasks as directed by the Site Manager.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
- Previous experience working on a construction site (New build housing experience is a major plus).
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, and steel toe cap boots).
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to take direction and work well as part of a team.
- Living within a commutable distance of Newcastle.
