Labourer
Location: EX10 9TE
Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour PAYE
Hours: Saturday to Wednesday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to support operational and maintenance teams across various sites and public areas.
This is a physically demanding role that involves working outdoors and assisting with a range of manual tasks. You'll play an important part in helping to maintain safe, clean and well presented environments for residents and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out general labouring duties
- Assisting tradespeople and maintenance teams as required
- Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment
- Site clearance and keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Supporting maintenance, environmental and improvement projects
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Reporting hazards, defects and safety concerns
- Using tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Working as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to carry out physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential
- Previous labouring, construction, grounds maintenance or similar experience would be advantageous
