Job: Laser Cutter

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Cutting Machinist to join a busy manufacturing company based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines
- Loading and unloading sheet metal and materials safely
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
- Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company standards
- Carrying out routine maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Working efficiently to meet production schedules and targets
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery is essential
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
