Laser Cutting Operator

Shifts: Rotating – 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm

Actio Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of a leading fabrications company based in Nottingham, who are seeking an experienced Laser Cutting Operator to join their growing production team.
The Role
As a Laser Cutting Operator, you will play a key part in the fabrication process, ensuring high-quality components are produced to customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and setting laser cutting machinery
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Selecting and preparing materials for production
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and quality checks
- Working to production targets and maintaining a safe, tidy work area
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery (e.g., Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada – or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
