Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Finchley, Barnet
4 days per week | September 2026 Start | Jewish Faith Primary School | EYFS-KS2 | Year group to be confirmed

A welcoming 1-form entry Jewish faith primary school in Finchley, Barnet is seeking a committed and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team on a 4-day-per-week basis from September 2026, for the start of the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit school community where values, consistency and pupil development are at the heart of everything they do. Working across EYFS to KS2, the successful candidate will be placed in a year group based on experience and school need.

Requirements:

  • Previous SEN experience is essential
  • Relevant child-based qualification is desirable (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Childcare, Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting children across primary age ranges (EYFS-KS2)
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to adapt to a faith-based school environment, where routines and timings may vary

Role Overview:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assisting class teachers with learning activities and classroom support
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum
  • Promoting positive engagement, independence and wellbeing
