Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive secondary SEN school in Gravesend is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a meaningful impact in students' lives.
The Role:
- Provide classroom support to students with a range of learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Support students with emotional and behavioural needs, promoting a positive and safe learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community and participate in enrichment activities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working in SEN settings or with students who have additional needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting young people.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the students.
- Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
