We are currently looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a Secondary school in Ealing to support students with additional learning needs and SEND.
Role
In this Learning Support Assistant role, you will complement the work of teachers by supporting individuals, small groups with additional learning needs (SEND). You will play a vital role in promoting inclusion, fostering independence, and helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both in-class and through targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and the SEN department to implement personal education plans (PEPs).
- Foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and progress.
- Assist in monitoring student development and maintaining accurate records.
- Deliver and support engaging learning activities under teacher guidance
- Organise and manage learning spaces and resources
- Provide clear feedback to both pupils and staff on achievement and behaviour
- Act as a role model, setting high expectations and encouraging cooperative learning
