Learning Support Assistant
Location: Rochester (Must be a car driver due to location)
Contract Type: Full time- Monday to Friday – 08.30am to 04.30pm
Start Date: Immediately

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide support for our students in our SEN setting. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in a child’s educational journey and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with specific learning and developmental needs
- Assist with daily routines
- Support social, emotional, and academic development
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for learning
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with young children, preferably in an SEN or school setting
- Understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable with excellent communication skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or equivalent) desirable
