Lecturer & Programme Lead – PlumbingSunderland College | Full Time | Permanent
Salary: £31,375 – £40,912 per annum
The Supply Register is delighted to be working in partnership with Education Partnership North East (EPNE) to recruit two Lecturer & Programme Leads in Plumbing for Sunderland College's outstanding Construction department.
If you're an experienced plumber looking for a new challenge where you can pass on your skills and inspire the next generation, this could be the perfect opportunity. No previous teaching experience is required—full training and support to gain your teaching qualification will be provided.

The Role
You'll deliver engaging practical and classroom-based teaching while leading your programme area and supporting learners throughout their journey.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering Plumbing programmes to Further Education students
- Supporting learner achievement, attendance and progression
- Planning engaging lessons and practical workshops
- Contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance
- Building positive relationships with employers and industry partners
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Level 3 Plumbing qualification
- Minimum of three years' hands-on Plumbing experience
- Level 2 Maths and English
- A passion for supporting and developing young people
A teaching qualification is not essential. If you don't already hold one, EPNE will fully support you in achieving your Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
An Enhanced DBS will be completed if required.
