Totum Partners is delighted to be working with a leading law firm to recruit a Legal Biller. This is a 12-month FTC maternity cover position, hybrid with three days in the office and two days from home. Legal experience and legal billing within a law firm are essential for this role.
This would be an ideal role for someone seeking a varied and comprehensive legal finance position.
The Legal Biller will be responsible for:

Managing all billing duties, including preparing bills and client invoices

Client and matter onboarding

Processing time and cost adjustments as requested by the lawyers

Posting of client receipts

Uploading and posting supplier invoices and payments

Management of accounts payable, including professional disbursement balances

All aspects of client money accounting, including posting receipts and payments against client matters and ensuring compliance with SRA rules

Liaising with the Group Finance team to ensure consistency with processes and procedures
The ideal Legal Biller will have:

Experience of legal billing within a law firm

Knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
