We’re on the lookout for someone who is:

- Experienced in legal cashiering or a similar finance role
- Detail-focused with a strong commercial mindset

What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly from a financial perspective. Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Handle financial transactions in line with relevant regulations
- Carry out bank reconciliations and manage client account postings
- Process payments (including BACS and transfers)
- Deal with billing, credit notes, expenses and petty cash
- Support month-end processes and reporting
- Keep records up to date using internal systems
- Record transactions using accounting software
- Deal with queries and resolve routine issues
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
What you’ll need
- At least 3 years’ experience in a legal cashier (or similar) role
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and credit control
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and handle a busy workload
- Confident communication and people skills
- Good IT skills (especially Microsoft Office)
- A professional and discreet approach when handling sensitive information
