An exciting opportunity has arisen within a law firm for a Legal HR Assistant to be based on a full time basis in their offices in Central London.
You would have experienced gained within a Law firm or within a professional services environment.
You will play an important role, supporting the administrative functions within the firm. This role will be very admin heavy, but as the firm grows there will be opportunities for growth and personal development for the right individual.
Qualifications and Experience for this Legal HR Assistant:
- CIPD Level 3
- Have experience within a HR department either in legal or professional services minimum of 2 years in the UK.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Duties for the Legal HR Assistant to include:
- Supporting the firm with the recruitment process
- Liaising with new starters, ensuring all documentation is obtained prior to joining the firm, and all new starter queries are promptly addressed
- Right to work checks
- Manage employee records in accordance with the firm’s policies and our legal requirements.
- Creating documentation to reflect any changes to an employee’s terms and conditions.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal protocols and standards.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Head of HR.
Salary is in the region of £35,000
