Meraki Talent is currently recruiting for an experienced Legal PA to join a well regarded law firm on an initial 3 month contract.
This role will suit someone with experience either in Corporate & Commercial or Employment & Immigration law department as a Legal PA.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised legal support professional who can hit the ground running and provide high-level administrative support to a busy team.
Legal PA responsibilities:
- Diary and inbox management for fee earners and partners
- Coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, and client appointments
- Preparing, formatting, and amending legal documents and correspondence
- Managing client files and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
- Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
- Supporting the billing process, including preparing bills and liaising with fee earners regarding WIP and client invoices
- Opening new matters and carrying out associated administration
- Assisting with general administrative and secretarial duties as required
Person Specification:
- MUST HAVE supported teams within either Corporate & Commercial or Employment & Immigration law
- Previous experience working as a Legal PA, Legal Secretary, or in a similar legal support role
- Exposure to legal billing processes and invoicing
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
