Legal Secretary – Commercial Real Estate

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced and highly organised Legal Secretary to join their Commercial Real Estate team in Glasgow.

The Role
Supporting busy fee earners, you will play a key role in the efficient delivery of legal services, providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support while maintaining the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting and welcoming clients professionally
- Managing digital dictation using BigHand
- Typing correspondence, reports and legal documentation
- Liaising with clients and handling day-to-day enquiries
- Preparing, amending and proofreading documents
- Collating and maintaining legal paperwork
- Drafting Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT) Returns
- Opening, reviewing, maintaining and closing client files
- Managing diaries and arranging meetings
- Answering calls and taking accurate messages
- Supporting client onboarding processes
- Preparing fees and recording billing information
- Providing general administrative and secretarial support
About You
To be successful, you will be organised, adaptable and client-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy legal environment.
You will have:
- Previous experience working within a legal firm
- Strong secretarial and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Strong document production and proofreading skills
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- The ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- A proactive, positive approach and strong team ethic
