A fantastic opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join a well-established firm of solicitors in East Yorkshire. This position offers the opportunity to join a fantastic team who provide a supportive and enjoyable culture.
THE ROLE: Deliver high-quality secretarial and administrative support to solicitors. Audio typing and preparation of legal documents and case files. Assist with invoicing, billing queries, and credit control. Support new-client onboarding, including AML checks and file setup. Manage diaries, appointments, and meeting arrangements. Liaise professionally with clients via phone, email, and in person. Handle sensitive information with accuracy and discretion. Prepare court bundles and maintain organised case documentation. Perform general office administration including filing, scanning, and CMS management. Ensure GDPR compliance and uphold strict confidentiality.
THE CANDIDATE: Previous Legal Secretary experience is essential. Litigation experience is desirable. Have high computer literacy and MS Office skills. Be organised and efficient. Possess accuracy and attention to detail. Have a professional telephone manner and strong written and verbal communication skills. Possess autonomy but also work well as part of a team.
