One of the world’s leading New York law firms is seeking a polished and proactive Legal Secretary/Reception to deliver high-level support to a leading Partner and Associates across a variety of client and administrative matters.

Legal Secretary/Reception (Brussels) Key Responsibilities:
- Providing general support to the Brussels office
- Client liaison
- Acting as gatekeeper for lawyers with Inbox/Diary management as required
- Document photocopying, scanning, printing
- Amending, converting and formatting documents; processing mark-ups
- Maintaining archives and storage of information in iManage
- Assisting with lawyer time recording
- Booking attorneys travel, domestic and international
- Ordering couriers and taxis
- Supporting with submission of invoices and expenses in Chrome River
- Liaising with secretaries in London and US offices
- Assisting with the opening of new matters, conflict checks and liaising with the client engagement team
- Daily running of the reception function
Legal Secretary/Reception (Brussels) Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in a legal firm is essential
- Strong organisational skills
- Professional and courteous manner, building and maintaining effective working relationships
- Excellent communication skills with lawyers, clients and other business services staff in multiple time zones (Asia, Europe, Americas)
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; iManage is essential
