Legal Secretary – Residential Conveyancing, London, Circa £27,000 DOE. Join a respected law firm offering a supportive working environment, ongoing training and the opportunity to become an integral part of a busy Residential Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive Legal Secretary looking to further develop their career within a well established legal practice. Job Ref: 4462
• The appointed legal professional will prepare a wide range of legal documentation including correspondence, deeds, lease extensions, completion statements and Land Registry forms, together with accurate audio typing and document production.
• You will support with the opening and closing of client files, monitor incoming post and emails, respond to routine client enquiries and ensure files are maintained to a high standard throughout the transaction.
• Assisting with billing procedures, requesting cheques and arranging bank transfers, whilst maintaining excellent levels of client service.
• Applications are welcomed from experienced Legal Secretaries or Legal Assistants, ideally with previous experience gained within a Residential Conveyancing or Property department.
• Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience of using the Land Registry Portal, together with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to prioritise a busy workload effectively and remain calm under pressure whilst maintaining a professional and client-focused approach.
