The Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Lettings Negotiator to join our dynamic lettings team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build a successful career within a respected, forward-thinking agency.
You will be responsible for managing the lettings process from initial enquiry through to move-in, delivering an outstanding experience to both landlords and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Registering applicants and understanding their property requirements
- Conducting property viewings and follow-ups
- Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants
- Securing new tenancies and achieving agreed targets
- Progressing tenancies from offer agreed to move-in
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, referencing companies, and contractors
- Maintaining accurate records on Reapit and ensuring compliance documentation is in place
- Keeping landlords updated throughout the letting process
- Generating new business opportunities and assisting with market appraisals
- Ensuring all activity complies with current lettings legislation and company procedures
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in residential lettings preferred (but not essential for the right candidate)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confident, professional, and well-presented
- Target-driven with a proactive attitude
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence preferred
