Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools Across Warrington
Immediate Start Available | Daily Supply with Ongoing Opportunities
The best Teaching Assistants know their role is about far more than supporting lessons.
They're the person who helps a nervous child settle into the school day, the extra encouragement a struggling reader needs to build confidence, and the trusted adult pupils turn to when they need support.
If that sounds like the reason you entered education, we'd like to hear from you.
We are working with a number of highly supportive primary schools across Warrington that are seeking Level 2 Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day classroom support, with many opportunities developing into regular placements throughout the school year.
These schools aren't simply looking for an extra pair of hands. They are looking for Teaching Assistants who can build relationships, contribute positively to classroom life and make a genuine difference to pupils' progress and wellbeing.
What Makes These Opportunities Different?
Many of the schools we support place a strong emphasis on inclusion, early intervention and pupil wellbeing. As a result, Teaching Assistants often play a key role in:
- Delivering phonics and reading interventions
- Supporting pupils with SEND within mainstream classrooms
- Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills
- Providing targeted support for pupils who need additional encouragement to reach age-related expectations
- Creating positive learning experiences that help children engage and succeed
You'll have the opportunity to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, allowing you to gain experience in a variety of school environments while finding the settings that best suit your strengths.
We Would Love to Hear From You If You:
- Hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Have recent experience within a UK primary school
- Enjoy working closely with children and supporting their development
- Can adapt confidently to different classroom environments
- Understand the importance of consistency, patience and positive relationships
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
What You Can Expect
- Flexible daily supply opportunities across Warrington
- Access to welcoming and well-led primary schools
- Competitive daily rates paid weekly
- Opportunities to build long-term relationships with schools you enjoy working in
- Honest communication and ongoing support from a consultant who understands the local education sector
If you're looking for a role where your contribution will be valued by both staff and pupils, we'd love to hear from you.
