Tradewind Recruitment are working with a thriving secondary school in Bolton who are seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with proven experience in education to make a real difference to pupils' learning and progress.
The successful candidate will:
- Have prior experience working in a school setting (applications without relevant school or education experience cannot be considered).
- Have experience supporting children and young people with SEND, including adapting approaches to meet a range of additional learning needs.
- Be confident in supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
- Have experience leading whole classes and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task.
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people.
- Be adaptable, reliable, and committed to supporting the academic and personal development of students.
- Hold HLTA status or possess equivalent experience within an educational setting.
