Nursery Teacher (Level 6)

Full-Time | September 2026 Start | 8:30am – 3:30pm
£125 per day PAYE

A primary school in Chiswick is seeking a qualified Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years provision from September 2026 on a full-time basis.

This role would suit a candidate holding Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or an equivalent Level 6 Early Years qualification with experience leading learning within a Nursery setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a small Nursery class of 12 children, supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the Nursery class on a full-time basis
  • Plan and deliver learning in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Support children's development across all areas of learning
  • Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with support staff and families
  • Monitor children's progress and contribute to assessments and reports
  • Support children's communication, language, social, and emotional development

Requirements

  • QTS, EYTS, or a recognised Level 6 Early Years qualification
  • Experience working within a Nursery or Early Years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • A nurturing and proactive approach to supporting young children

Salary and Hours

  • £125 per day PAYE
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Full-time from September 2026
