Lighting Sales Professional – Midlands
£45,000–£55,000 basic salary + high commission + car allowance + pension
Are you an experienced lighting sales professional with the technical confidence to survey sites, understand customer requirements and present efficient, commercially compelling lighting solutions?
Our client is a well-established, privately owned business supplying commercial and industrial lighting solutions to blue-chip organisations across warehouse, logistics, manufacturing and office environments. With an in-house team of engineers and installers, they deliver complete lighting projects from survey and design through to installation, offering performance, longevity and warranty support.
The Role
This is a consultative sales role focused on identifying customer needs and presenting lighting solutions that improve efficiency and deliver a clear return on investment. You will carry out client site surveys, assess lighting requirements, prepare designs using Relux where appropriate, and work closely with the internal engineering and installation teams to deliver projects successfully.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience selling commercial or industrial lighting solutions.
- Strong understanding of lighting design, installation and energy-efficiency-led sales.
- BS7671 qualification or equivalent electrical knowledge.
- Experience using Relux would be highly advantageous.
- Confident carrying out site surveys and discussing electrical installation requirements with clients.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven and comfortable developing opportunities across the Midlands and wider UK when required.
Package
- £45,000–£55,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
- High commission potential linked to project gross profit.
