My client, a well-established private practice law firm, is seeking a talented solicitor to join their busy litigation department due to sustained growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for solicitors across the PQE spectrum – NQ (Newly Qualified) through to senior solicitors with extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
The Role
You will manage a varied and engaging caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, which may include:
- Contract disputes
- Property litigation
- Debt recovery
- Professional negligence
- Contentious probate
- Company and partnership disputes
- General dispute resolution work
You will handle files from initial instruction through to resolution, with appropriate supervision depending on your PQE level.
Key Responsibilities
- Running a mixed litigation caseload independently
- Providing high-quality legal advice to a diverse client base
- Drafting pleadings, statements, applications, and correspondence
- Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and case management requirements
- Building long-term client relationships and contributing to department growth
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- NQ to 6+ PQE in litigation or dispute resolution considered
- Strong drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with excellent attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
