Litigation Solicitor – Worcestershire

An established and highly regarded law firm in Worcester is seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a  Litigation Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE in commercial litigation and property disputes to take on a varied caseload while developing relationships with key regional referrers, including insolvency practitioners.

About the Firm

This well-established Worcester-based law firm provides a broad range of legal services to commercial and private clients. The firm enjoys strong links within the local business community and works closely with professional referrers, particularly insolvency practitioners, generating a steady flow of high-quality dispute resolution work.

The practice embraces flexible working through a paper-light environment supported  case management software, allowing Solicitors to manage files efficiently both in the office and remotely.

The Role

As a Dispute Resolution Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload covering commercial litigation, property litigation and insolvency-related disputes. You will play an important role in supporting the continued growth of the department through excellent client service and relationship-building with professional referrers.

There is also scope for candidates with employment law experience to undertake employment-related contentious and advisory work, although this is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters
  • Advise clients on breach of contract claims and wider commercial disputes
  • Handle property litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes
  • Support and manage shareholder and partnership disputes
  • Act on insolvency-related contentious matters and instructions
  • Build and maintain relationships with insolvency practitioners and other professional referrers
  • Attend client meetings and networking events across the local Worcestershire area
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and departmental growth

Your Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or Legal Executive
  • Approximately 5+ years' PQE in dispute resolution or litigation
  • Strong commercial litigation experience
  • Experience handling breach of contract and general commercial disputes
  • Property litigation experience
  • Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
