The Role: Local Change Coordinator
Location: Peterlee (On-site)
Contract: 24 months fixed term assignment till Nov 2027
Working Hours: 36.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Excellent Pay Rates:
- Day Shift: £19.55
- Afternoon Shift (20% premium): £23.46
- Night Shift (35% premium): £26.39
- Overtime 1.5 (Mon-Sat): £29.33
- Overtime 2 (Sundays): £39.10
Shift Timings:
- Days: 08:00 – 16:00 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00 – 12:30 (Fri)
- Afternoons: 16:00 – 00:00 (Mon-Thurs), 12:30 – 17:00 (Fri)
- Nights: 00:00 – 08:00 (Mon-Thurs), 17:00 – 21:30 (Fri)
The Opportunity
Coordinates engineering releasing activities between engineering design areas and procurement/scheduling with effective and timely implementation.
Primary Roles/Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Creating, maintaining, and communicating accurate change management data at both the local and corporate level through data entry in multiple management information systems.
- Analysing engineering releases, changes, drawing notices to create change management requirements, providing the creation of product structure based on engineering design.
- Maintaining close team relationships with releasing analysts, as well as teams in manufacturing operations, process planning, engineering design, and material planning.
Skills, experience & qualifications you will have:
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Cross-Team Integration: Understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Manufacturing Application Systems: Knowledge of company and industry databases and applications used in a manufacturing environment; ability to operate, maintain and update these systems.
Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP): Knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.
Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Production Scheduling and Control: Knowledge of procedures and tools for scheduling and controlling production runs; ability to utilize knowledge of daily manufacturing processes to assure quality deliverables.
Top candidates will have:
- Project management and Coordination experience
- Experience with Power Apps, SAP, Power BI and Analytics
- Strong stakeholder management & influencing skills
