Our client is seeking a Logistics Assistant to join their friendly operations team in Huntingdon.
This is a part-time role for an initial period of 6 months.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing incoming goods and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Coordinating deliveries, collections and courier services
- Supporting customer returns and repair processes
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to provide updates on orders and deliveries
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management activities
- Maintaining accurate records and completing general administrative tasks
- Supporting the wider operations team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
The successful candidate:
- Has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- Is proactive and able to manage their own workload
- Has strong communication and customer service skills
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
- Takes a positive and flexible approach to work
- Previous experience in logistics, shipping, customer service, administration or operations would be advantageous, but is not essential.
