Logistics Manager – Shared user / contract logistics

Opportunity to join a well established International Logistics and Supply Chain business currently expanding warehousing and fulfilment operations in the West Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity to join the company at an exciting time of growth and development as they continue to focus on business growth in the UK and Europe.
The role will be responsible for a small, professional warehouse and logistics team plus support staff and will oversee the general operations and commercial activity for the business. In addition, the role will also be client facing and you will work directly with suppliers and customers with regards to developing, scoping and pricing supply chain and logistics solutions. This will include warehousing, transport, fulfilment and international freight. To apply for this exciting opportunity, you should already have experience in a similar role at senior supervisor or managerial level with a logistics provider or in-house operationa and should be familiar with all aspects of logistics and supply chain, ideally with knowledge of contract logistics and shared user operations. Knowledge of WMS will also be highly beneficial, together with strong commercial and financial acumen and experience of working directly with both new and existing customers.
