The Role
As an Associate, you will play a key role in the execution of M&A and strategic advisory mandates while supporting senior bankers in client coverage and business development activities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading day-to-day execution workstreams across sell-side, buy-side and strategic advisory transactions.
- Building and reviewing complex financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials.
- Coordinating due diligence processes and managing interactions with clients, advisors and other stakeholders.
- Preparing client presentations, strategic reviews and board-level materials.
- Supporting the origination and execution of transactions across Life Sciences, Pharma, Biotech and broader Healthcare sectors.
- Mentoring and developing Analysts within the team.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate is likely to possess:
- 3-6 years of investment banking experience, within Healthcare M&A, specifically focused on Life Sciences or Pharma at a leading Investment Bank.
- Strong transaction execution experience across M&A and strategic advisory assignments.
- Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Strong academic background and outstanding analytical capabilities.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a lean, high-performance environment.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
