Machine/Assembly Operative.
Baltic Recruitment are looking for skilled Machine/Assembly Operatives with experience within the automotive / aerospace / manufacturing sectors.
Ideally, candidates need to have previous experience within a mechanical assembly and be able to follow written and verbal instructions clearly and knowledge of health and safety in the workplace is essential.
You will be working 37hrs per week.
There will be a requirement to work additional hours when required.
Your duties will include:
– Assembling of safety-critical products ensuring 100% accuracy
– Assembly of medium to heavy components candidates will need to be dexterous
– Must be able to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment
– Experienced in the use of hand, power and air tools
– Participate in the principles of teamwork
– Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
– Must operate and perform at speeds necessary to meet production demand
– Must be able to bend, reach, and stand for 8 hours.
– Hand and eye coordination
– Read drawings
– Must be able to work overtime when required
– Operating drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation
– Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners

Shifts: 3 shift pattern. 8 hours shifts, Monday-Friday.
Days – 6am-2pm
Backs – 2pm-10pm
Nights – 10pm-6am
