Machine Learning Engineer
£700-750/day overall assignment rate to umbrella
Remote working – once a month onsite
6-month initial contract
Working with a financial services client who are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to design, build and deploy advanced analytical solutions that drive business value. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong statistical and machine learning expertise with hands-on experience productionising models and building scalable ML systems.
Machine Learning Engineer, key skills:
- Strong experience in Python (e.g. pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Proven experience in model productionisation and deployment in real-world environments
- Hands-on experience with MLOps, including CI/CD for ML, versioning, and monitoring
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience building data pipelines and working with large datasets (SQL, Spark or similar)
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modelling techniques
- Experience collaborating across data science and engineering teams
