Are you a Maintenance Engineer with experience dealing with contractors, mentoring and guiding other engineers?

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join our us on our journey. We have been a market leading FMCG manufacturer in the UK for the last 50 years. We have multiple sites across the midlands and our expansion has led to targets of £100m turnover in the last year.

The successful applicant will have both mechanical and electrical competencies. Mechanically you’ll be repairing and maintaining fryers, weighers, baggers, sealers, cutters, and metal detectors. On the electrical side a working knowledge of single and three phase motors is required as well as 24v machinery. No knowledge of PLCs is required. Ideally the applicant will have an FMCG background however those from a non – FMCG background will be considered.

Experience required for the maintenance engineer:
- Would look at Maintenance engineers from any fast paced manufacturing background
- You will be multi-skilled ideally with an electrical bias but would look at mechanical bias if you have strong electrical skills
- Any maintenance engineer from a manufacturing background welcome to apply: FMCG/Food/Metals/Recycling/Automation/Foundry/Brick/ Aerospace etc
