Maintenance Lead
What You Will Do
As a Maintenance Lead, you will oversee all maintenance activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment at our Great Yarmouth site. This is a fully site-based role. You will ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. You will coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement including project work and 5S across production and warehousing operations.

How You Will Do It
• Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities across operations • Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime • Plan and deliver preventative maintenance schedules • Drive continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability • Ensure compliance with HSE and environmental standards • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment • Maintain accurate maintenance records and KPI reporting • Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams • Manage spare parts and supplier relationships
What We Are Looking For
Required • 5+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment • Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills • Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems • Good understanding of HSE and quality standards • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
Beneficial • Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent) • Experience with automated or assembly line equipment • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement tools
