At DENSO Marston Ltd in Shipley, West Yorkshire, we design and manufacture high-performance heat exchange units and cooling modules for leading OEMs across the off-highway construction, agricultural and engine power markets.
We are now looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of maintenance operations, lead a skilled team of engineers and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our manufacturing equipment.

AM Shift
- Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Friday: 6:00am – 11:00am
PM Shift
- Monday – Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Friday: 11:00am – 4:00pm

The Role
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide leadership, technical guidance and day-to-day direction to the Maintenance team, ensuring equipment downtime is minimised and production performance is maximised.
You will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of preventative maintenance, TPM, Kaizen and reliability improvement activities, helping to ensure the business consistently delivers high-quality products safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strong technical expertise and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct and support Maintenance Engineers and Technicians across shift operations
- Drive rapid fault resolution and equipment recovery to minimise downtime
- Take ownership of temporary repairs and ensure permanent corrective actions are implemented
- Support the delivery of Preventative Maintenance (PM), TPM, Kaizen and overhaul programmes
- Monitor equipment reliability and identify opportunities for improvement
- Build strong working relationships with Production and Engineering teams
- Ensure effective communication and escalation of maintenance issues
- Attend operational meetings and drive actions to completion
- Support maintenance planning and resource allocation activities
- Manage day-to-day team performance and employee-related matters
- Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and engineering best practice
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members where required
What We're Looking For
- Time-served Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge
- Previous supervisory, team leader or maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of maintenance processes, preventative maintenance and reliability improvement
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to coordinate workloads and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance-related systems
- Flexible, proactive and solution-focused approach
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety, 5S and engineering best practice
