Description
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support organisational planning.
- Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Manage month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks effectively.
- Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and finance department.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Studying a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience in preparing management accounts and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
