Management Accountant | Nottinghamshire | £45,000–£50,000 | 5 days on site
An established, family-owned business is looking for a Management Accountant to take ownership of financial control and reporting, with genuine scope to grow the role over time. This is a chance to join a stable and established finance team and become a key part of a business with a strong local reputation.
What you'll be doing
- Taking full ownership of financial control and reporting, from bookkeeping through to management accounts
- Producing monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and trend reporting
- Managing high-volume daily transactions alongside occasional higher-value sales
- Building and maintaining cash flow forecasts
- Overseeing statutory and insurance reporting, VAT and digital tax compliance
- Leading year-end and audit processes
- Managing and developing a team of three accounts staff
What we're looking for
- Solid experience in a management accounting role, ideally with previous line management experience
- ACCA/CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience — we're open on qualification route
- Comfortable working across high transaction volumes and varied invoice values
- Retail, automotive or dealership background is a bonus but not essential
- A confident, adaptable people manager who brings good energy to an established team
