Exciting opportunity for a commercially aware CIMA/ACCA/ACA passed finalist/qualified Management Accountant to join a collaborative and forward-thinking finance team in a extremely varied management accountant position.
Working in a newly created role due to recent rapid growth fuelled by acquisitions your duties will include:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Manage accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Support audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for finance-related queries across the business.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business performance, investigate variances, and challenge assumptions where appropriate.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Contribute to process improvement projects and wider finance initiatives.
- Support, mentor, and share knowledge with junior members of the team.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Previous experience preparing management accounts within a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and communicate findings effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to build relationships across different teams.
- An interest in developing leadership skills and supporting the growth of others.
