Description
- Prepare and analyse management accounts to support business decisions.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and reconcile financial records, identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes within the accounting and finance department.
- Provide detailed financial reports and insights to key stakeholders in the FMCG sector.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and liaise with auditors as required.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A relevant qualification or progress towards a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Experience in management accounting within the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
