Accountancy Action
We are currently working with a Construction company in the City in order to find them a talented Management Accountant to join their finance team.
The role will involve all aspects of the month end process and you will be reporting into a supportive FD. It offers the opportunity to progress and develop your exposure to financial projects and board pack reporting improving controls as you go.
This is a temporary to permanent role. The role will temp for 1-2 months then be made permanent for the right candidate. The role is 5 days a week in the social City based office and the hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Main duties of the role will include:
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts including full commentary ·
• Responsible for the HMRC/VAT submissions.
• Monitor the accuracy of the nominal ledger
• Monitor the daily cashflow.
• Assist with audit
• Manage the fixed asset reporting
What the client is looking for:
• A part qualified Accountant
• A minimum of 3 years management accounts experience
• Experience assisting with audit
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues and clients efficiently and competently
