As the business continues to grow through organic development, new contract wins, and acquisitions, they are seeking a talented Management Accountant to play a key role within their finance function, offering up to £50,000!

- Job Title: Management Accountant
- Salary: Up to £50k, DOE
- Location: Peterborough
- Working pattern: Full-time, onsite (flexible working)
Responsibilities:
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of three finance professionals.
- Taking ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Managing month-end activities, including accruals and prepayments.
- Producing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Preparing weekly KPI reporting for operational leaders across the business.
- Producing reports and management information for senior stakeholders and the board.
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and best practice.
- Overseeing banking and funding facility administration, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
- Supporting statutory, banking, and regulatory audits.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies across the finance function.
- Contributing to a variety of finance and business improvement projects.
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Experience working within a high-volume transactional environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to support your team during busy periods.
- Experience of leading, coaching, or mentoring team members
