Fame Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established charity with UK and international operations, including subsidiaries in Israel, in the recruitment of a Management Accountant.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the Charity's mission through the provision of accurate financial information and strategic insight.
Working Pattern: Part-Time flexible hours (1-day WFH). Salary is Pro-Rata. The organisation offers generous holiday entitlement, hybrid working, and off-street parking.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for the Charity Group
- Leading the budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes across the Group.
- Producing detailed financial analysis and variance reporting for senior management and Trustees.
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and managing the annual audit process.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions and restricted funds.
- Overseeing VAT returns, payroll reporting and other statutory submissions.
- Producing board reports and financial packs to support strategic decision-making.
- Supporting compliance with Charity Commission, HMRC, Companies House and other regulatory requirements.

- Use of Xero
Candidate Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Previous experience working within the charity or not-for-profit sector is essential.
- Strong experience preparing management accounts, statutory accounts and consolidated group reporting.
- Strong knowledge of SORP, charity accounting regulations and financial compliance requirements.
- Advanced working knowledge of Xero is essential.
- Previous staff management or supervisory experience.
