Description
- Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts for the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with department heads to track and manage costs effectively.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with auditors.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Maintain and enhance financial systems and processes for efficiency.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting practices.
- Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary in the range of £60,000 to £65,000 per annum.
