Management Accountant
Location: Milton Keynes (Office-based with 1 day WFH)

We're working with a well-established, international business that's continuing to grow through acquisition. As the finance team expands, they're investing heavily in developing their Management Accountants into true business partners, giving them greater exposure to senior stakeholders, commercial decision-making and strategic projects.
This is an opportunity to step beyond producing the numbers and become someone who helps shape them.
The Role
You'll take ownership of the management accounts for a portfolio of business entities, working closely with operational leaders to provide insight, challenge performance and support better decision making.
Alongside your core month-end responsibilities:
- Ownership of the Management Accounts to include P&L; Balance Sheet and Cashflow for multiple entities.
- Providing reports, insight and analysis on gross margin and overhead variances.
You'll have the opportunity to become increasingly involved in:
- Business partnering with operational and commercial leaders
- Presenting financial insight and performance analysis to senior stakeholders
- Supporting acquisitions and business integration projects
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Process improvement and strengthening financial controls
- Group-wide projects and continuous improvement initiatives
It's a varied role that offers genuine exposure across the wider business rather than sitting purely within finance.
About You
You'll ideally be:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experienced in producing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Comfortable analysing financial performance and explaining the "why" behind the numbers
- A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships across the business
- Naturally curious, commercially minded and keen to influence decision making
- Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
